Is the Sleutelpas valid?

Yes, one valid Sleutelpas grants an annual one-time free entry for one person (from 1 January 2026). Please book your tickets online in advance. If you book but then cannot come, we would hugely appreciate if you could cancel your visit, so we can offer your tickets to another visitor. More information on and the terms & conditions of the Sleutelpas.

Is my old Naturalis voucher still valid?

Yes, if there is no expiry date on the voucher, it is still valid. Please book your tickets online in advance.

Can I bring a pram or buggy into the museum?

As lift capacity is limited, please consider leaving your pram or buggy at home.  If this isn’t possible, then you’re welcome to bring it to Naturalis. Stroller wagons, bicycle carts, and bike trailers are not allowed in the museum on weekends and during school holidays. If you want to use one to carry children, then we might allow it on quieter days in the week.  Naturalis staff may refuse these at their discretion.

Are people with a disability entitled to free entry or a discount?

No, but a companion may come for free.

Are wheelchairs available?

Yes, we have a limited number available. Please ask a staff member to borrow a wheelchair when you arrive. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to book one in advance.

Are there accessible toilets available?

Accessible toilets can be found on the ground floor and 9th floor.

Do I need to book tickets?

Yes, this is the only way to guarantee entry. Book here now.

The time slots are already full on the day I want to visit the museum. Can I still get tickets?

Unfortunately not. This means the Rexperience is sold out for that day. If you still want to take a trip back in time, then please come back to the museum on another day and book your Rexperience tickets online in advance.

Can I visit the Rexperience on its own without a museum ticket?

No, the Rexperience is only available with a museum ticket.

Can I book Rexperience tickets if I already have a museum ticket?

Yes, please contact us at tickets@naturalis.mom or call +31 (0)71 - 7519 600. Our customer service is open from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 on weekdays, and from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 on weekends.

Can I visit for free with a Museumkaart?

Yes, if you have a valid Museumkaart (Museum card), you get free entry to Naturalis. Please book your tickets online in advance. A surcharge of €2 applies for the Rexperience.
If you book but then cannot come, we would hugely appreciate it if you could cancel your visit, so we can offer your tickets to another visitor.

Is the Rexperience free with a VriendenLoterij VIP CARD?

Yes, one adult may enter for free with a VIP CARD. We are grateful to VriendenLoterij for their support in launching the Rexperience. Please book your tickets online in advance.
